OUR STORY

Here at Bellwether PArk

MORE THAN A GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION, A LASTING ONE.

From your first glimpse, you know Bellwether Park is a community unlike any other. Bellwether Park represents a unique departure from typical suburban neighbourhood planning. Built on a neo-traditional design model, and it provides an example of New Urbanism-style development within the city. Roadways were constructed so as to encourage pedestrian usage, and those 'white picket fences' encourage interaction among residents whilst having your own private yard.

CREATING A NEW LANDMARK

Because Family Matters; Neighbourhood parks, schools, and a brand new library provide the focus for this community. The natural environment is incorporated into open spaces throughout the neighbourhood, which includes diverse land uses and a fine-grained approach to mixed-use development. These elements, once dominant in traditional residential communities but lacking in recent suburban development styles, were used as the building blocks of the neo-traditional plan developed for Bellwether Park. The result of this planning effort was a walkable, street-oriented community in northwest Edmonton.

A higher degree of attention is evident in each detail—from the grand windows down to the handles on the faucets. While every individual element is the result of a conscious decision, they all reinforce the same message to you on an unconscious level—"this matters."

Bellwether Park is unlike anything else in Edmonton.

THE ARTISTRY, OUTSIDE AND IN

Bellwether Park is born from a collaborative effort between a talented group of artists and builders. Architects Tricon & Doopin have combined timelessness with modern sensibilities to give Bellwether Park its distinctive presence, creating a community that will never go out of style, but seems as though it has always been there.

The unique character of this community reflects our belief that every project should be one-of-a-kind and built with family in mind.
